Andy joins the Ornstein-Schuler Companies from Ernst and Young, where he led the Tax Policy & Controversy practice for the U.S. Central Region, specializing in U.S. and international tax policy planning and transaction risk assessment. Andy also advised clients on how domestic and foreign changes in tax policies, rules, and regulations affected their businesses, as well as helping with implementation of best tax management and risk mitigation practices. Prior to Ernst and Young, Andy was a partner at the law firm of Mayer Brown LLP, where he represented clients in matters related to domestic and international tax planning, risk assessment, and tax controversy and litigation.
Andy holds an MBA and a Masters of Law in taxation, and builds comprehensive strategies and solutions that help clients navigate complex issues, minimize their risks, and achieve exceptional results. At Ornstein-Schuler, Andy is using his expertise and experience to help identify and develop new business opportunities and provide strategic insight into evaluating existing and future investments. Andy is an active supporter of By The Hand Club for Kids and a Board Member of North Side Youth Football NFP. He enjoys coaching youth football and baseball and spending time with his four children.
